Let’s Sea Beach Restaurant @ Hua Hin

We were searching for good food in Hua Hin town, and after reading Asia-city recommendation,  we decided to try out Let’ Sea Restaurant, which is part of Let’s Sea Resort. An al-fresco restaurant, Let’s Sea is a fusion cuisine restaurant including nostalgic Thai favorites, and its cuisine is inspired by memories from family dining moments and childhood memories.

The first thing that struck me about Let’s Sea is the immediate view of the sea from our cushiony couch seats indoor. There are also a few seats outdoor with similar amazing views. The servers were friendly, and were helpful in recommending dishes. The overall ambience met its objective of being a very relaxing restaurant on the beach.

From the snacks and nibble section, we tried the Grilled Sirloin with a Spicy “Jaew” Sauce (350 baht). Juicy, tender with a hint of Thai from the sauce, this was my very favourite dish!

For the mains, we shared the Pad Thai with Tiger Prawn (320 baht). This was the best presentation of Pad Thai I have ever seen in any Thai restaurant! Pretty and tasty.

I personally found the Tom Yum Kung Soup (380 baht) a little toned down, perhaps because Let’s Sea gets so many tourists! It was a little less spicy and sour that I would expect Tom Yum so be in Thailand. The omelette was typical – crispy and good!

We also shared a side – Soft Shell Crab: Deep Fried and served with Tamarind Sauce (390 baht). The crab was fresh (without the very ‘fishy’ seafood aftertaste), battered and cooked well, and the spicy sauce really absorbed nicely into the batter and complemented the crab.

Let’s Sea gave us pretty desserts on the house – Cherry, Berry Sorbet on the house!Lets Sea-16 Lets Sea-17

Overall, very nice experience and I would go back again when I want a comfortable ambience in Hua Hin to eat and enjoy the awesome sea breeze and view!
