Improving our Health by Empowering through Knowledge
The Blogger
A reformed food blogger with a passion for Health&Nutrition, Cancer&Integrated Oncology, People&Coaching, Learning&Thinking and Travel.
I was Group Manager in an MNC for close to a decade. In the course of my career, I have been particularly passionate about:
- Leading and coaching multi-functional teams
- Leading and executing projects helping social causes like Special Olympics, and I was privileged to be featured in both the Singapore and Malaysia Womens’ Weekly for my passion for social causes.
My mum’s Stage 4 Colon Cancer diagnosis in Feb 2014 stopped me in my tracks, and I have been on sabbatical to be her primary caregiver. Since then, she has made an amazing recovery into full remission in under 4 months and you can read more on her recovery journey here.
As I accompanied my mum on her miraculous recovery, I have been blessed to go through my own amazing journey of detox via wholesome foods, alternative treatments and wearing negative ions clothes. I was also very sickly, often being sick once a month at work, though I will still drag myself to work. For the past 4 months, I have only had to take 1 course of antibiotics, which amazing considering I used to be sick every month.
I also went through an emotional detox, being forced to face many fears in my life such as losing a loved one. Even something that use to scare me a lot – Skydiving – has become a lot less scary in retrospect. Hence, I now have a compelling passion now to share health and nutrition knowledge with all of you readers so we can all stay healthy for a thriving life!
I am a junky for new experiences so I want to share our good food and travel experiences (so you don’t have to waste calories and time!). I also hope to save you time from extensive research by curating and documenting our best experiences.
[After I moved out in 2015, my mum became mentally depressed and stopped many of her healthy maintenance protocols listed in this blog and passed away peacefully in Jan 2016. Before her passing, she told me that she regretted not taking care of herself when she had a second chance and told me that I must continue to share with people about Christ and about health maintenance. Truly, to stay healthy is an accumulation of small daily decisions! I hope that her passing would not discourage patients reading this, but instead, learn from her experience to not just recover but to STAY healthy :)]
Hence, my writing will focus on organic/raw/vegan Food (Eat), Health&Cancer as a social cause (Pray) and Travel (Fly).
And as a final highlight, everything we share on the blog is for informational and educational purposes only. The information is not intended to replace medical advice offered by healthcare professionals.

For the more philosophical, Eat.Pray.Fly represents our living for a purpose. With our basic needs like eating met, how can we pray and think harder to really fly and soar in life and help others along the way? -ing. because as long as we live, we should not settle for a superficial existence but always aspire to our goals while helping our families and communities.
“We love because he first loved us.” — 1 John 4:19 ESV
We look forward to your inputs and suggestions! Leave us a message at EatPrayFlying! 🙂
