As a relatively new vegan, I was very glad to hear that Loving Hut opened its flagship store in Joo Chiat. Loving Hut is an international vegan chain with around 200 stores worldwife. It is pretty difficult to find organic, vegan, non-GMO options in Singapore to bring mum too, so I strongly support all these restaurants and cafes now. And Loving Hut does not disappoint. It is one of my personal favourites in terms of the freshness and taste of the food.
Loving Hut is the fastest growing chain of international vegan restaurants in the world. All our ingredients are 100% vegan. We use as much organic vegetables and non-GMO products as possible for all our dishes and drinks, with a particular focus on sourcing our ingredients from local producers to offer our customers the most natural, healthiest and most delicious cuisines.
I find the food pretty amazing. We have been there 3 times in 2 weeks, so we have tried quite a few dishes! I am glad to have an #eatclean option that is also very yummy!

Crispy Shrooms – $7.90. Supposedly fried in coconut oil which is great because coconut oil doesn’t go rancid at high temperatures

Grilled Veggie sandwich – my least favourite dish as the veggies were burnt (and potentially carcinogenic) so we didn’t eat most of it!

Unassuming dish…. but i was owned by this vegan Teochew Mee Pok ($8.90). They even managed to replicate the fried lard with vegan materials. Yumz!

Tunna Zen ($13.90) served with salad

Tunna Zen ($13.90). If I weren’t conscious that I was in a vegan restaurant, this would have passed off as real tuna… Have to try to believe!

Mudvelicious ($9.90) – Too sweet for me and lacking the taste of chocolate. Still prefer the raw cheese cakes.

Raw Marble Cheese Cake ($9.90) – Pricey for its size but with the taste and texture of real cheese cake! Great for the lactose intolerant
I find their local dishes like the Mee Pok, Nasi Lemak and Nasi Campur, pack an extra punch in flavours compared with their western dishes so must try them!
