Top 7 Organic Produce Delivery Providers in Singapore

A lot of things have happened since the last update. To be honest, N & I chose not to keep to a 100% raw vegan diet for two reasons. One is that socially, it makes things very difficult when we dine out with our loved ones (of course, no longer an issue with Covid-19 induced circuit breaker) but we find that it created a lot of stress for our friends when deciding where to eat or what to cook for us. And two, perhaps my body has always been a ‘cold’ constitution from TCM point of view, so prolonged raw, vegan diet made me feel more tired over the very long term.

However, we are still committed to staying healthy so I would say we are on a 80% vegetarian, organic/natural and as little processed foods diet! This has been the best balance for us both physically and mentally (otherwise, I become stressed trying to be a purist).

During this Circuit Breaker period at home, we have been on a hunt for fresh organic produce with delivery options. We’ve found some physical stores where we get our supplies from regularly but sometimes when we get busy with work, it can be quite difficult to go down to the store physically to get the freshest vegetables! So I did some digging and found online stores that specialise in and deliver organic produce to our doorstep to share with all of you!

I figured you guys might also be searching for organic produce deliveries now that everyone is trying to stay away from crowds and COVID19 (I hope everyone is safe and well!)

This is my list of top picks of organic food delivery providers with below 3 considerations

  1. Quality of Produce
  2. Speed of Delivery
  3. Flexibility of Subscription (lock-ins, withdrawal fees)

Please let me know if you have other recommendations so that I can share it and expand the list to benefit others!

  1.  Zenxin Organic Online Store

One of my favourite go-to for organic produce is also available for online shopping and delivery. I even visited their farm in Malaysia to find out more about their organically grown crops and wrote about my experience here.

Organic Box Monthly Subscription (4 deliveries/month) is available for those who want to get supplies regularly.

The subscription starts from $120/month. There is a wide variety of types of boxes available; each option clearly states the type of fruits and veggies you will be getting!

My favourite box is the vegetarian steamboat one – even comes with natural plant-based stock for you to enjoy at home!

  1. Quanfa Organic Farm

I love that Quanfa Organic Farm cultivates organic produce in Singapore for Singaporeans. I believe it is so important to improve food supplies within Singapore for national sufficiency! Anyway, they ensure that all harvesting and packaging is done in the morning to ensure the freshness of their produce.

Walk-ins are no longer available but they have opened online shopping and are offering delivery (free delivery for orders above SGD$60).

Weekly subscription box (5kg worth of veggies & fruits) is available if you want to get your supplies regularly. Each box is made for 2 adults and 1 to 2 small children.

4 weekly subscription boxes are priced at SGD$240 – 1 box is delivered each week; price is inclusive of weekly delivery.

  1. Open Taste SG

Open Taste SG is one of my favourite online fresh portals because the interface is user-friendly. They have this + button on their pictures for easy adding to cart. They also have bulk orders that give good deals – very useful when we are juicing and need fruits and vegetables in large quantities.

Their variety is also great because they are an Online Marketplace for Organic Vegetable, Fruit and Seafood, connecting more than 200 farms and food manufacturers across 6 countries with consumers online.

Buying your organic produce from Open Taste allows you to purchase directly from global sources at wholesale prices – delivery is within 36hours! (Not all of their products are organic so be careful while selecting)

If you become a premium member (member subscription is $49.99 annually), you get to enjoy unlimited free delivery on bulk orders and non-bulk orders that are above $49 as well as 2% rebate on all orders.

For non-premium members, free delivery is available for orders $150 and above – more information on delivery charges can be found at checkout.

  1. Supernature
Source: Supernature

Supernature’s physical store is likely the most premium of organic stores in Singapore. Similarly, their online store assortment is also more premium and all of Supernature’s products are natural or organic, certified by renowned certification bodies such as the USDA (United State of Department of Agriculture), and the Soil Association (UK).

They ensure their stocks are of the best quality by importing their products directly from suppliers. They are also a green company that tries to minimise their impact on the environment!

Subscription is available; you order it as a standing order where you set an arrangement with SuperNature to get a fixed number of items delivered to you on a weekly basis for a period between 2 to 12 weeks.

The subscription boxes start from $90/ 3.5kg box. Fruits and vegetables included are clearly stated.

I’ve not ordered from the following organic food delivery brands but will definitely be giving them a try since their reviews are generally quite positive!

  1. Sasha Fine Foods

Sasha Fine Foods partners local organic farms like VertiVegies and other independent farmers or suppliers world-wide. Delivering only the highest quality produce, Sasha’s Fine Foods products are personally sourced by company founder – Sasha Conlan.

They have also been featured on The Straits Times and Expats Living SG!

Free next-day delivery for orders $100 and above (order by 1pm). You may cancel your order up to 2 days (48 hours) before delivery and receive a full refund. I was quite surprised as not many places allow order cancellations!
