Detox Retreat @ The LifeCo Phuket

It has been almost 2 years since my last proper juice fast so N and I decided to head to Phuket to do a 3 day detox! The LifeCo Phuket is located around a lake, and is the newest kid on the block in Phuket to offer most natural solutions to fight against ageing and diseases. I decided to try out the LifeCo Phuket because I agree with their 360 degrees holistic approach together with healthy nutrition, anti-ageing and well-being therapies, prevention treatments for chronic diseases and cancer as well as pampering and beauty treatments alongside with spiritual therapies, all in the same complex. I love that they also have doctors and nurses – look forward to them giving the most updated and holistic advice for our health. The LifeCo may be new in Phuket, but their first outlet in Turkey has been opened for more than 10 years. I was quite excited to know that celebrities fly themselves to The LifeCo in Turkey just to detox! We were warmly welcomed at the airport on …

Mum’s Stage 4 Colon Cancer Recovery Journey – Part 6

Now that mum’s Stage 4 Colon Cancer is in remission with her PET-CT scan showing resolved metabolic activity and her CEA markers consistently in normal range, there are days even I tend to forget the details of this blessed journey we have been on this year. It has really been a very epic year from being told my mum had stage 4 cancer in February when all she had was irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) symptoms, to being told in March she only had 6 months to live if she didn’t do chemotherapy, to her being in remission by Jun and now even healthier than before, without having to take her high blood pressure medication she was taking for 20 years before this. ALL in the same year! Hence, I decided I will be slowly write on our journey to capture God’s blessings every step of the way, to remind us to be thankful for everyday and also to let all of you out there who might be going through similar struggles to know that you …

Recipe: Green Vegetable Juice

After my previous post on Juice Fasting, quite a few of you wrote to me to ask for recipes, so I have decided to combine what I learnt from the clinic and from different fruits I have been trying out at home into this recipe recommendation! Please note though – use only certified organic ingredients when juicing, otherwise you will probably be drinking concentrated pesticides/fungicides from the fruits in inorganic produce. If you are doing a juice fast, I recommend at least 4L/day as you would not be having solid food. If you are supplementing juice as a daily liquid sunshine into your lifestyle, I would recommend at least 1L/day for regular people and at least 2L/day if you have cancer/recovering from cancer as you need to constantly be giving your body alkalizing nutrition to build your immunity. As an overall rule, keep to 80% Base+Dark Leafy Greens, and 20% flavouring.

Dr Thomas Lodi – The Miracle Doctor whose team reversed my mum’s Stage 4 Colon Cancer

When I knew about my mum’s terminal colon cancer condition, and then heard about Dr. Thomas Lodi who had helped many Stage 4 cancer patients achieve remission, I turned the web upside down for information on theg rod  and I couldn’t find much consolidated information about him. It is a good thing I knew someone whose Stage 4 liver cancer was reversed by Dr Lodi, or we might have missed this chance to save my mum. Why mainstream medical knowledge and statistics gave my mum a death sentence, while Doctor Lodi provided hope. My mum received 11 weeks of treatments under Dr Lodi’s team of Thai doctors (he is the consultant while the team of Thai doctors administer the treatment). After concluding the treatment, her CEA cancer markets dropped from 16.5 to 2 (already normal yay! As the reference range is 0-5). Yes,  I went home to Tan Tock Seng Hospital to check this out, and CEA cancer makers were also 2 in Singapore. So, I feel a need to share what i now know about Dr. Lodi …

Feeling Positive about Negative Ions – Negative Ion Clothes from Japan

Specific disclaimer for this post: Negative Ion Clothing is NOT a medical device, a cure, a therapeutic tool, or medication. Nefful products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease and no warranty or representation is made in this post with regards to its ability to do so. This post is based on my own experience and personal research. You are advised to seek professional medical advice for your own health issues. To expose my mum to a high density of negative ions to enhance her self-healing abilities, I got my mum made-in-Japan negative ion clothes. These negative ion clothes have been around for ~60 years, and I cannot believe I never heard of them before this! I personally believe in the huge benefits of negative ions because within 1 month of exposing my mum constantly to 100,000-500,000 negative ions/ cc of air everyday, I saw her cancer markers drop from 22 to 16.5! That was before we made changes to her diet and lifestyle so wearing the negative ion clothes for negative ions …
